I joined Ordinary Living as a Support Worker in 2008.
I had never worked in care before and was a bit apprehensive about it, despite this I was welcomed into the Ordinary Living family with open arms.
I was offered training to get knowledge within the care sector and to do my NVQ’s in Health and Social Care at no cost to myself, learning about equal opportunities and the diverse scale of the people that I am supporting.
Ordinary Living has given me a career and satisfaction of knowing that I can make a good difference to someone’s life just as they did for me.
I suffer with Tourette’s syndrome and with the help of Ordinary Living I managed to control this and progress with the company to become On Call Manager.
Ordinary Living has changed my life forever and cannot thank them enough for every opportunity I have been given.
